Once a stubborn Burnley teenager turned his life around and encourage other young people to follow suit.
Chloe Pye, 17, spent his evenings drinking in the streets with his friends.
Now he is a much appreciated volunteer Nacro Burnley Youth Inclusion Project, which is based on the Stoops Estate.
Chloe has also started in hair and beauty, of course, Nelson and Colne College, and rarely drink alcohol anymore.
Shuttleworth, a former college student said: "I was a little handful when I was younger.
"I used to get tired, act and get into trouble.
"When I was not 't school, I' d be out drinking with friends in real estate. There was nothing else to do."
Only when Chloe was presented Nacro youth inclusion project, that his life was a different route. The scheme was established in 2005 to provide positive activities for disadvantaged young people.
Nacro project workers help young people to problems such as alcohol and drug abuse, family breakdown, and anger issues.
Lancashire Constabulary 2006-09 figures show a significant reduction in antisocial behavior and criminal damage since the project was set up.
In the Trinity Ward, antisocial behavior has fallen 44 per cent and criminal damage by 24.5 per cent since 2006, when Coal Clough Deerplay Ward and they have been cut to 28 percent and 25 percent respectively.
Chloe said: "I've been coming to Nacro a little over a year now and I 'm totally different.
"They've taught me how my behavior affects other people, and it 's really changed my position.
"I really enjoy helping other young people and understand the problems they have, because I am" I've been there myself. "
Nacro project manager Rebecca Hodgson said: "Many young people we work with low self-esteem and low aspirations for the future.
"We help them start to believe in themselves and make positive choices.
"We 're incredibly proud of the work that' s done here in Burnley, because it not only the interests of young people we work with directly, but also the wider community."
